2018 SUMMER TUESDAY TRIBUTE SERIES
The mountains surrounding Bradford, PA will be echoing with the sounds of music this summer, when a series of tribute bands perform on Tuesday nights at the Bromeley Family Theater. In total - five shows, all tribute bands honoring legendary performers - will be singing and playing all your favorite songs from the legends of “Rock & Roll.”
All performances are at the Bromeley Family Theater beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets for all five shows are only $100. If you wish to purchase a single performance ticket, the fee is $22 per person, per performance. For information on purchasing season tickets for the Summer Tribute Series, call the Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center at 814-362-2522.
The first of the Summer Tuesday Concert Series performances will be held July 17. This performance will honor the musical icon, Johnny Cash. In the spring of 1955, Johnny Cash walked into the legendary Sun Recording Studios in Memphis, Tennessee … the music world was never the same. This “Tribute” sprang from performer Terry Lee Goffee’s appreciation and love, not only for the music of Johnny Cash, but for the man himself.
Johnny Cash was a champion of the underdog, a voice for those who often had none; he was an “outlaw” before it became fashionable.” Terry Lee Goffee says, “If you come away from this presentation with a better understanding of who Johnny Cash is, I will have succeeded in my vision for this endeavor. Enjoy the ride.”
The Summer Tuesday Tribute Series show schedule for 2018 is:
• July 17: Terry Lee Goffee “The Ultimate Johnny Cash Tribute” … He looks like Johnny. He sounds like Johnny. Nobody does Johnny Cash like Terry Lee Goffee.
• July 24: The Return of Buddy Holly … Buddy Holly lives in The Return of Buddy Holly, with the show also featuring songs by Dion, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens.
• July 31: Captain Fantastic A Tribute to Elton John … Les puts on an inspired and entertaining Elton John performance. Captain Fantastic is based on the 70’s and 80’s era of Elton John’s work including a five-piece band and three costume changes.
• August 7: Green River Revival A Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival … North America’s most authentic sounding CCR tribute. Their “Down on the Corner” sounds so much like John Fogerty you’ll swear it is the real Creedence Clearwater Revival!
• August 14th: The Chicago Authority … This 9-piece band is dedicated to celebrating the music of one of the most popular and prolific bands of all time - Chicago!
The Bromeley Family Theater is located at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, PA. (Free parking is available!) To purchase tickets and additional information, go to bcpac.com.

ZAMP: NEW WINE IN A CAN
Flickerwood Wine Cellars has become famous for their history of creating award-winning wines. New this year, is the idea of bringing portability for wine lovers by creating ZAMP-wine in a can.
All wines are created by the Zampogna family. Daughters Julie and Tammy were attending a National Beverage Conference in Washington, DC when the idea of wine in a can sprung to life. Their entire family loves to camp, boat, go to the beach, and sit by a campfire, so they had the idea of creating a portable wine in a can - no bottles or glasses needed.
ZAMP is great for outdoor parties, tailgates, and anywhere convenience is a factor. ZAMP gives wine lovers the same convenience as beer lovers with having availability to purchase a can of wine with the same ease of purchasing a can of beer. The Zampogna family likes to be unpretentious about their wines, and creating a canned wine - easily available to everyone - is the perfect way to present an excellent product in an unpretentious way.
Currently, ZAMP is available in four varieties: Pinot Grigio, Wild Berry, Sleepy Hollow, and KID, a pear and pineapple blend. Each variety, at a cost of $8.00, is available in a 12-ounce can (equal to two glasses of wine or approximately half of a regular bottle of wine). ZAMP wines offer the convenience and the ability to taste different varieties in a smaller volume. When hosting your next party, offer your guests the opportunity to try different varieties of ZAMP-wines, all with the convenience of wine in a can, no glass bottles to worry about!
Zampogna wines have no artificial flavorings in them. They offer a variety of dry and sweet wines, with many award-winning blends in traditional bottled wines also.
ZAMP wines are best refrigerated; you want to serve them nice and cold. ZAMP can be purchased online, or, take a trip to visit the original Zampogna winery at Flickerwood Wine Cellars & Lounge, 309 Flickerwood Road, Kane, PA. For more information call 814-837-7566 or visit flickerwood.com.
