Ride the Open Road

It’s time to polish those pipes, strap on those helmets and ride for the cause. Saturday, September 17 is the date for the 16th Annual Food Bank of Western New York Motorcycle Run & Rally.

Net proceeds of the 16th Annual Motorcycle Run & Rally will help the Food Bank of WNY as it continues to fight hunger one day at a time.  The Food Bank provides nutritious food and resources to hungry Western New Yorkers through its 329 member agencies, including soup kitchens, food pantries, and shelters throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties. Through these agencies, the Food Bank can assist as many as 129,000 individuals, including more than 44,000 families, more than 45,000 children and nearly 17,000 seniors in any given month. More information on the Food Bank of WNY can be found at www.foodbankwny.org.

The Bear Brick of Cattaraugus County, The Pad of Chautauqua County, Second Gear of Erie County and American Harley of Niagara County will serve as starting rally points to ride and converge at the Faulkner American Legion Post 880 of Eden, NY for the 8am registration.

The event will host a cruise-in, vendor fair and a delicious breakfast will also

be available from the Post 880’s kitchen from 8am until noon.  Everyone’s invited.

Kick stands are up at 11am for the scenic motorcycle dice run, which includes stops at Gowanda Harley Davidson, The Pad, Whiskey Hill Saloon and Merritt Winery before ending at the Sunset Bay Beach Club’s Rally at 1028 South Shore Drive in Irving.
